Privacy policy
Effective 2 November 2026
In short: the developer doesn't collect your data and can't see it. Drinkroll has no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking, and no server of its own.
Developer
Drinkroll is developed and published by William Montes under the name soluptions, who is responsible for this policy. Contact: hello@soluptions.com.
What the app stores
What you enter: plans, bar names, the names you give your friends, drinks, food, prices, payments, tags, comments and settings. Please only add friends' names they'd be comfortable with.
Where it's stored
- On your iPhone, in the app's private storage.
- In your private iCloud, if iCloud is on for your Apple Account. This is handled by Apple under its own terms, and is used to sync and restore your data. The developer has no access to it.
Microphone and voice
The microphone is used only while you hold the mic button, and only if you allow it. Speech is recognised on your iPhone. Audio and transcripts aren't sent to the developer or stored by the app as recordings.
On-device AI
On supported iPhones, the app may use Apple's on-device model to better understand a spoken order. No data is sent to third-party AI services.
Sharing and exports
Data leaves the app only when you choose: a JSON backup, PDF receipt or text summary. Once shared, the app and the developer no longer control that copy.
Third parties
The app includes no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code. Apple may give developers aggregated App Store statistics under its own policies. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Keeping and deleting data
Your data stays until you delete it. You can delete plans in the app. Deleting the app removes its data from that iPhone. Data in iCloud can be managed or removed from your iPhone's Settings › [your name] › iCloud. Removing microphone or speech permission in iOS Settings withdraws that consent at any time.
If you contact support
If you email us, your address and message are used only to answer you, are handled by our email provider, and are deleted when no longer needed. You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of these messages, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Drinkroll is for adults of legal drinking age and isn't directed at children.
